Opportunity to enhance your basic option
With Stag Simple Funerals you have the option of enhancing various aspects of your original choice including coffin -although as standard we offer a basic traditional coffin for our families, some people like to choose something else - sometimes a beautiful willow coffin or other woven coffin.
Another options is we can arrange for flowers to be placed with your loved one so they go to the burial grounds with a beautiful display of colour, we can take a snapshot of this on the day if you would like
Additional Practical Care; Support at end of life
For those who choose a direct funeral with us we have an additional support service for the last few weeks of life which offers (non-medical) Practical support and advice for you and your family.
1.Support via Telephone, Email, WhatsApp or Video Call
This service is offered for a fee £150 per 28 days – this will give you access to an End of life
Practitioner between the hours of 8am to 10pm 7 days a week.

Offering practical advice on:

What to do if a loved one is at home for the last few weeks of life

What mobility aids, position of beds, clothing may be of help

What to say to someone is dying.

Supportive phone calls for those who are shouldering most of the weight of caring for the person who is dying.

What to look for in the signs of dying which takes away the fear of the unknown.

Support whilst navigating all the different NHS teams involved.

What’s most important to you and your loved ones.

What to do when someone you love has died.
Additional Practical Care; Support at end of life
For those who choose a direct funeral with us we have an additional support service for the last few weeks of life which offers (non-medical) Practical support and advice for you and your family.
2. Face to Face Support from End of Life Practitioner visiting your Home/Care
Home/Hospice/Hospital (Hourly rates from £25/hr with a minimum of 2hrs plus travel costs.
Examples of how EOL Practitioner may support you:

Sit with the person whose life is coming to an end so that you may have some free time to do something for you.

Navigate family and medical teams so that everyone is on the same page with consistent information and planning.

Practical support in the home such as housework, shopping, walking the dog or collecting children from school.

Attending medical appointments with you.

Facilitating those tender conversations that may need some compassionate support.

Sitting with the person who is dying.
-
Gentle washing the person who has died using organic essential oils.

Assisting you in completing necessary legal paperwork.
